Dr. Joy Ogaji (Ph.D., LLM, BL, LLB) is a Nigerian/British professional with over 16 years of management in different aspects of commercial law, the Power and Energy sector, Property and Regulatory matters.
She has years of solid experience honed by consulting stints with development partners like the African Development Bank (AfDB), Power Africa, NEXANT, DFID, and the World Bank. She is currently the Executive Director of the Association of Power Generation Companies in Nigeria. She joins for a special conversation on all of the issues surrounding power generation, transmission, and delivery in Nigeria via Zoom.
Power is a touchy subject in Nigeria, decades of mismanagement, poor infrastructure, and whatnot have led to rotting in the system that seems very difficult to cure. At the same time, power is a necessity. We all want the system to work. And there is not a Nigerian who does not smile inwardly when “Up Nepa” is heard. Our conversation with Dr. Joy touches all of these uncomfortable aspects of service delivery in the Power Sector. Feel free to also come in with your questions and additional insight – a Q&A session will be curated for participants.
Join in to discuss, “Repositioning the Power Sector for Better Service Delivery” by 11:00 AM this morning.
